    Distances and Terms

    Sunday the 12th of May 2019: Cyclosportive

    The roads are open to traffic. Participants MUST obey the highway code/traffic laws and be mindful of other road users.

    Late entry after 30 April incurs an additional cost of DKK 50, –

    The entry fee covers the service and food during the race and a hot meal and a drink after finishing. There are feed stops with food and drink for approximately every 50 km. On the 38 km family route there is a feed stop halfway to finish.

     

    Age groups

    <15, 15-20, 21-30, 31-40, 41-50, 51-60, 61-70, >70

    Before the race, lottery prizes are awarded randomly by starting numbers, which have been entered before end 30th of April.

    Start and finish

    The finish line closes at 06.30 PM. If you finish later, you can not expect time registration.

     

    Showers and changing rooms

    There are showers and changing rooms in DGI Huset.

     

    Route markings

    The routes are marked with signs with arrows.

    At some places there will be arrows painted on the road and at critical points the Police Home Guard and race officials will direct riders.

    Chip timing

    Timing is recorded with RFID microchip.

    You must pick up your timerchip at the racecenter before start Sunday morning or Saturday between 15:30 and 17:30.

    To receive your chip, you must bring your email confirmation, either on paper or on smartphone.

    The chip is a disposable chip which must be affixed to the helmet.

    The chip is not to be returned after the race.

    Your time is registered when you pass the start and finish line and at intermediate timing points.

    If you do not pass the line, both at the start, intermediate points and at the finish, your time will not be approved and you will not be registered as having completed the race.

    The timing will not be corrected.

    You may change your your distance or start time up until close of registration. If you ride a different distance or start at a different time than you have registered for, your time will not be recorded.

    Cancellation and refunds

    If you are entered and unable to participate, cancel before May 1st by e-mail to receive a 50% refund of registration fees. Credit card fees, websales administration fees, travel expenses and other overhead costs will not be refunded. In case of cancellation after May 1st, 50% refunds are only given if a medical report documenting injury is presented.

    Starting in teams of approx. 75 riders with 3 minutes apart.

     

    Traffic rules and support vehicles:

    Grejsdalsløbet is a cyclosportive race on open roads, so all traffic rules MUST be followed.

    We ask all participants to be aware of other road users and to comply with the instructions of road officials.

    Support vehicles are strictly prohibited.

    Participants who receive help from support vehicles will be asked to leave the race.

    All participants must use approved helmet.

    Use of TT-bars or other handlebar extensions is not allowed.
